UMMMMMM yes please!! You could make money by posting on Facebook?

According to The Verge, the big bosses at FB are considering allowing you to add a “tip jar.” So, other online users could essentially pay you for status updates, the same way you tip a performer.

It appears the idea is that online “posters” that have a big following or are notable, will be able to profit! Same way big YouTube stars and Instagram users make money.

Ok, so this is cool! But, we are still confused about how this tip jar works…do you actually pay money? Or is the tip like another ‘like’ button?
