Lego Big

This story comes to us from down the road.

A Calgary boy, Tadhg Dunlop, who’s only 11 years old was detained at the Chinook Shopping centre as he tried to do a little shopping at the Lego store.

Tadhg had $200 of his own money and was looking to spend a little on his ever growing Lego collection.

The boy and his father biked to the mall and then the Father left his son to do his thing in the store – there was a plan to meet for lunch after.

Tadhg was asked how old he was by a Lego store employee, when he replied with his age, a security guard was called and the Lego seeking kid had to spend some time in the mall clink.

Apparently, the Lego Store has a policy in which a kid, who’s under 12, can’t be under unattended in their stores.

Tadhg earned his money shoveling snow and babysitting.
