e-book

Edmonton book borrowers are looking for something a little more saucy! But only in e-book form.

Sharon Karr, who is the manager of collections at the Edmonton Public Library, says 50 Shades doesn’t do nearly as will in paper form, but the series takes 3 out of the top 5 most borrowed e-books

Top 5 in e-books:

1.       Fifty Shades of Grey – E.L. James – 526 checkouts

2.       The Girl on the Train – Paula Hawkins – 437 checkouts

3.       Gone Girl – Gillian Flynn – 383 checkouts

4.       Fifty Shades Darker – E.L. James – 344 checkouts

5.       Fifty Shades Freed – E.L. James – 298

The rest of the list can be found over at Edmonton Metro

The numbers coming out of the public library show a really interesting trend in what people take on when it comes to hardcopy vs. e-book.

I guess people are a little less shy in person
