Jesse Lipscombe experienced racial slurs first hand while filming a video in Edmonton. It was caught on camera, and now he’s sharing it.

Jesse is an actor and former high jump champion. He was shooting a public service announcement in downtown Edmonton when a stranger started yelling incredibly rude racial slurs at him. Jesse decided to walk up to the individual to have a calm conversation and attempt to educate the stranger as to why he was being very hurtful. The man who was yelling at Jesse did not take well to be confronted and drove off yelling slurs yet again.

This saddening incident has not brought Jesse down though, in fact he says he’s glad it was all caught on camera and happened, because now Edmonton can’t turn a blind eye anymore. Jesse posted the video on his facebook page and is inviting as many people as possible to share it.

Jesse will be joining us this morning on the Pepper and Dylan Show after nine.
