This is the most dogs they have ever brought back in one rescue mission. Our heartfelt thanks to the Pet Food Bank of Parkland County and all the people in the northern communities who helped facilitate the rescue.

So if you can offer a pupper some tender, loving, care, these lil guys need you!!!

The Edmonton Humane Society posted this on their Facebook page:

Over the weekend, the Edmonton Humane Society partnered with the Pet Food Bank of Parkland County to execute a large-scale rescue mission in northern Alberta.

A crew of staff and volunteers from both agencies worked tirelessly to gather and transport 71 dogs and puppies back to Edmonton from communities outside of Peace River.

This is the most dogs we have ever brought back in one rescue mission. Our heartfelt thanks to the Pet Food Bank of Parkland County and all the people in the northern communities who helped facilitate the rescue.

Because these pups are from all different walks of life, they’ll need a little TLC before being placed up for adoption. Please keep checking our website if you are interested in adopting, where the animals will be listed once they become available.

Stay tuned to social media where we’ll post updates on some of these cuties in the coming weeks.
