This year’s show is shaping up to be one of the most competitive contests yet as big names such as Adele, Justin Bieber, Drake and Beyoncé lead the list of nominees.

Adele, being nominated for Album, Record & Song of the Year this year, will look to sweep all 3 categories for the second time; in 2011 she won in those categories for ‘21’ and ‘Rolling in the Deep’.

Beyoncé will look to add to her 20 GRAMMYs as her Lemonade album is up for Album of the Year and her song, ‘Formation’ is up for both Record and Song of the Year.

Drake’s Views album, the year’s best selling album, is not surprisingly up for Album of the Year, boosted by hit singles such as ‘One Dance’ and ‘Too Good’ (his collaboration with Rihanna); he and Rihanna are up for Record of the Year’ for another collaboration, ‘Work’.

Justin Bieber fans will surely be happy to hear that the ‘Sorry’ singer is up Song of the Year (‘Love Yourself’) and Album of the Year (‘Purpose’).

Big shout out to Twenty One Pilots and The Chainsmokers as well who each picked up nominations this year. Twenty One Pilots song, ‘Stressed Out’ is up for Record of the Year, while The Chainsmokers will go up against Chance the Rapper, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerina and Anderson Pak in the Best New Artist category.

Queen Bey leads the way this year with 9 nominations; Drake, Kanye West and Rihanna each have 8.

The 2017 GRAMMYs will take place on February 12th at 8ET/5PT on City, and will be hosted by The Late Late Show host James Corden.
