Weeknights at 9pm two new songs will go head to head in the New Music Showdown! Listeners will have 1 hour to vote for their favourite song through phone and text. At 10pm the song with the most votes will get played in full and move on to battle another night.

After 5 wins in a row the song is retired to the New Music Showdown Hall of Fame!!!
