24K Magic is in the air in Edmonton!

Bruno-Mars-Curtain

Bruno Mars opened up his 2-night visit to the city last night, and did not disappoint. I don’t think words can explain how talented this guy is – he’s got a voice that can melt butter, and moves to make the ladies want him and men wish they could be him (but just a little bit taller). When the curtain went up and Bruno Mars & the Hooligans stepped out on the stage, the crowd erupted in a deafening roar that you could barely hear what the opening number was.

The album, 24K Magic, is a definite throwback to 90’s R&B with slow jams and funkified beats. Mars performed nearly all the tracks from his latest album like the obvious ’24K Magic’, ‘That’s What I Like’ and ‘Versace On The Floor’, adding in fan favourites ‘Treasure’, ‘Marry You’, and of course the chart topping earworm ‘Uptown Funk’. He brought it down a few notches with ‘When I Was Your Man’ and fiery version of ‘Grenade’ but it showcased his amazing vocals.

Bruno Mars has one more show left in the YEG and only a few tickets left. So should you go? HECK YES! Wear your dancing shoes, and you might also want to take your umbrella for the rainstorm of glitter that erupts at the end.

Oh and while you’re there – stop by for a selfie or a few with the KiSS Team on location!
