Unfortunately many of these fabulous things have hit the ripe age of TWENTY this year. YES 1998 was a great year for television, music, and cool inventions. I feel old.

Ahhh, what a smoldering couple. Personally my favourite over the whole Brad & Angelina, the two started dating right when Jen was in her fourth year of Friends and Brad was getting ready for one of his best movies, Fight Club. They dated from 1999 on and were married for 5 years before they divorced. SO SAD STILL.

I WILL FOREVER BE IN LOVE WITH THIS. Okay so Titanic is on the cusp of actually being 21 with a late December release date in some countries and January in other, Kate and Leo, Rose and Jack. It’s just so unreal.

 

JAY Z – HARD KNOCK LIFE – GHETTO ANTHEM

Not only does big brother JAY look like a baby in this photo, this is one of if not his most iconic records. Hard Knock Life the Ghetto Anthem released Oct. 27th 1998. It was nominated for Best Solo Rap Performance at the 41st Grammy Awards in 1999.

The Furbuy was supposed to resemble a Owl or Hamster like creature. THE MUST HAVE TOY OF THE 90s! They were initially known for speaking only “Furbish” but then, it was programmed to start learning English words. Creepy but cool…….

Baby one more time is turning twenty this year. Can we seriously bring back the pink fuzzy hair things cause it needs to happen…  This song reached number one in every country it charted in. A smash hit so to say. It was nominated for MTV’s Video Music award for Best Pop video that year.

My absolute all time favourite, Sex & The City was one of HBO’s most successful television series. Miss Carrie Bradshaw and her ruthless babe – icons of BFF’s – Samantha, Miranda & Charlotte tore up the screen for six seasons and 2 unreal films. It’s racy and real all at the same time. LOVE IT.
