It was a sad morning in Canada when the men’s hockey team lost the semifinal game to Team Germany at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. However, the REAL game began after our 4-3 loss yesterday (February 23).

The German Foreign Office, which is based in Berlin, tweeted out a tongue-in-cheek ‘travel advisory’ warning Germans living in Canada to be extra nice.

Of course, Canada responded in the BEST WAY.

So much sass! It was still a happy ending for Team Canada, as they won bronze in Men’s Hockey after beating the Czech Republic earlier today 6-4. I would still LOVE a round of hot chocolate, though. Danke, Deutschland!
