Jason Mraz and Meghan Trainor have released a new duet, “More Than Friends.” It is described as a gentle love song about two friends who admit they have feelings for each other. Ooh la la!

“There are few artists as talented, joyful, and present as Meghan,” Jason says in a statement. “She was very inspiring to work with.”

Meghan adds, “I loved working with Jason. I had to pretend I wasn’t freaking out the whole time as I’m his biggest fan. Not only is he so talented, but he’s extremely humble and kind too.”

 

The song is featured on Jason’s upcoming album, Know., out August 10th. Mraz is celebrating the release of his new album with a series of high profile TV performances, including a special release day appearance on NBC’s TODAY Show Citi Concert Serieson August 10th. Meghan’s album Treat Myself comes out August 31st.
