Talk about feels all over!

Halsey’s ‘Without Me’ has to be my favourite song out right now and listening to her perform a stripped down version of it makes me love it even more.

Halsey recently stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge and not only performed ‘Without Me’ BUT she also performed a cover of Juice WRLD’s ‘Lucid Dreams.’  As Billboard explains, “Accompanied by a single electric guitar, Halsey’s raw vocals were highlighted in the emotional performance.”

During Halsey’s BBC Radio 1’s interview, she was asked who has been her favourite artist to collaborate with so far and her answer, of course her best friend, Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui.  Halsey says, She is an incredible performer.  She is an amazing lyricist and she has the most beautiful voice ever and I hope that we get to make more music together in the future.”

Halsey also spoke about emo and hip hop music.  Watch below.

In a recent Instagram post, Halsey finally addressed her ‘Without Me’ music video and the ‘G-Eazy lookalike’ that many fans pointed out.  Halsey says, “The ‘Without me’ video is out now! This video was made with my friend Colin Tilley and it was a really amazing and emotional process.  The story is a reflection of a combination of relationships I’ve been in, or watched the people I love go through.    It’s a reminder that you deserve more.  And it’s okay to not want to be taken advantage of.  By your partners, your friends, you family.  You deserve happiness.  Don’t be afraid of going and finding it.  As always, art is meant to be left to interpretation.  If you see your story in this, I hope you hear me speaking to you loud and clear.”
