Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson called it quits in October and it looks as though Ariana is finally ready to move – even if that means covering up Pete-inspired tattoos.

Throughout their romance (which only lasted a few months) Ariana and Pete got a total of nine tattoos together.  Do you remember in the summer when Ariana got the numbers ‘8418’ tattooed on her foot? Those numbers belonged on a firefighter badge once owned by Pete’s father, Scott Davidson, who passed away during the 9/11 attacks (Pete also had the same tattoo but on his left forearm).  During Ariana’s BTS video of ‘Thank U, Next,’ she’s showing off her new tattoo, which is now a tribute to ex-boyfriend Mac Miller who passed away from an apparent overdose.

At the 2:22 mark when Ariana is practicing the ‘Bend and Snap,’ a well-known move from Legally Blonde, Ariana tells her teams, “I love my tattoos,” and asks for them to look at her ‘Myron’ tattoo.

According to People“Myron is the name of Miller’s dog, a pitbull mix, which he adopted in 2017 from Wylder’s Holistic Pet Center through The Wagmor, a pet hotel in Los Angeles, while he was still dating the singer.  After Miller died of an apparent overdose in September, Grande was seen cuddling with Myron, prompting speculation that she may have adopted his dog.”

And that wasn’t the only Pete tattoo Ari covered up – she re-tattooed a massive black heart over her cursive ‘Pete’ that once was inked on her ring finger.

Pete has also been busy doing the same – he covered up the famous Ariana bunny ears with a black heart also.

Ugh! Why do people do this?
