Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande are destined to be BFFs – I’m convinced!

Miley Cyrus and her recent collaborator Mark Ronson teamed up once again and performed an amazing cover of ‘No Tears Left To Cry.”

Here’s the backstory of ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ – This was the first single Ariana released following the Manchester terrorist bombing attack that took 22 lives and it happened during Ariana’s concert in May of 2017.  Ariana then decided to take a break from music and fans wondered what kind of tune she would release following the attack.  Producers Ilya and Max Martin created Ariana a ‘dance-pop anthem accompanied with a U.K. garage beat,’ “She said she wanted to start a song slow in the way that [Gloria Gaynor’s] ‘I Will Survive,’ it starts like a ballad and turns into something different.  Ariana told us, ‘I want it to be positive and talk about positivity and love.  I don’t have any tears left to cry.’  We were like, ‘That’s it! That’s the way you say it!’  There were so many lovely, magical moments, but it was amazing.  I feel like I watched this pop star turn into this true artists, and her song writing developed in extraordinary ways.  And it was a great experience.”  The song went on to become Ariana’s ninth Top 10 single on the Billboard charts.

Mark Ronson then tweeted, “I love this song.  And I loved getting to cover it.  Thank u.”

And it was three years ago Ariana and Miley teamed up and performed a cover of ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ by Crowded House and the last year they both took the stage at Ariana’s One Love Manchester benefit concert.
