We’re getting a new album from Cardi B – hopefully!

In a video that was posted by Cardi herself, she says, “Of course there’s going to be album in 2019.  Hopefully, I can get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out.  I don’t know how possible that’s going to be because I feel like I’m going to be extremely, extremely busy.”

According to NME, “It’s expected that a deluxe version of ‘Invasion of Privacy’ will arrive later this year, which could potentially slow down the arrive of a new record.”  And just last month, rumour had it that Cardi B turned down the Super Bowl due to money-related issues. One of Cardi’s representatives explained in a statement, “The rumour circulating that she wants a million dollars and she wants her own set is false.  There never a firm offer to begin with for a performance.  There [were] talks about it, but she was not particularly interested in participating because of how she feels about Colin Kaepernick and the whole movement.”

Invasion of Privacy was released last April which means, if Cardi wants to drop her new project by the same due date, that only gives her four months.  Considering the last few months Cardi has had, in particular with Offset, I’m pretty sure she can come up with a bunch of records.
