Sam Smith and Normani dropped the video for the brand new collaboration banger called ‘Dancing with a Stranger.’

In addition to dropping their brand new video, Sam was recently on Beats 1, chatting with host Zane Lowe about his music, his collaboration with Normani and his love life.  When Sam was asked about Normani and how he got her to collaborate on ‘Dancing with a Stranger,’ he says, “I said to her, ‘Do you wanna hear this song?’ I played her the song.  I saw her Billboard performance … When I saw her do that on the Billboard Awards, I was like, ‘Wow.’ She’s a triple threat. She’s special. And you can tell that she works really hard. When she came into the studio, she just jumped on the song there and then with me in the room. She just sang it and it was perfect.”

Sam also explained that he had the song for at least four months before it reached the public, “It feels more honest actually.”  And about his love life, “People think I’m miserable, and I’m not.”  When Zane Lowe asked if Sam falls in love hard, Sam explained, “Oh my God, so hard. So hard, and I do everything wrong.”
