Oh boy!! I don’t have any tattoos YET but this is my main fear – having a MISSPELLED TATTOO!

Ariana Grande recently got some new ink, this time on the palm of her hand and using Japanese Kanji character symbols.  Ari originally wanted the tattoo to read ‘7 Rings’ but instead, it turned out to be ‘BBQ.’  Ariana posted the photo on both Twitter and Instagram writing, “This felt super good @kanenavasard jk (everyone thinks this is a fake hand but it’s indeed…. my hand.” Fans then were super quick to point out that the tattoo actually “translated to “shichirin” which means a Japanese style barbecue grill,” according to Entertainment Tonight.

Realizing the mistake, Ariana deleted the images and then in response to a fan, she tweeted, “Indeed, I left out “???” which should have gone in between. It hurt like f**k ann still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.  Also…. huge fan of tiny bbq grills.”

Afterwards, Ariana posted this conversation on Insta-story between herself and her tutor about the tattoo translation, explaining to Ari what she could to do so the ink is more accurate.

But don’t worry – looks like Ariana will soon get her new ‘BBQ’ tattoo fixed and she’ll be good as new (minus that new ink pain).  Can’t wait to see the finished product!

And Ariana isn’t the ONLY celeb to have a misspelled tattoo.  Do you remember in Ed Sheeran’s ‘Galway Girl’ video, when Saoirse Ronan, a famous actress was inking Ed? She wrote ‘Galway Grill’ instead of ‘Galway Girl’ … it happens!
