It’s looking like Marshmello is in the process of recruiting artists for upcoming records, and he’s on the look out for everyone’s favourite female rapper…Cardi B!

Marshmello has said it himself, he Tweeted, “I need to do a song with Cardi B this year.”

Marshmello is no stranger to the hip hop world when it comes to collaborating.  He’s previously collaborated with the following artists below.

Marshmello with Juicy J and James Arthur / ‘You Can Cry’

Marshmello and Khalid / ‘Silence’

Marshmello and Lil Peep / ‘Spotlight’

Marshmello and Logic / ‘Everyday’

Marshmello and Migos / ‘Danger’

Marshmello and Roddy Ricch / ‘Project Dreams’

This collab would make a ton of sense, as both artists are bonafide hit makers.  According to Billboard, “Both the producer and the rapper are decorated chart players. Marshmello has hit the Hot 100 seven times, including with “Danger” with Migos. Cardi, on the other hand, has 25 Hot 100 hits on her hands, including “Taki Taki” with DJ Snake. Add it up, and that’s next-level star power.”

Cardi just dropped her own collaboration recently.  It features Bruno Mars and it’s a total banger.

However, it looks like fans of Marshmello are totally against this collaboration, but let’s be real, anything Marshmello does always turns to gold!
