Australian singer and songwriter Tones and I is this month’s ‘One To Watch’ artist.

Born as Toni Watson, Tones and I was born and raised on the Mornington Peninsula.  Throughout high school, Tones learned how to play the keyboard as well as the drums and began performing at local festivals and gigs.

In early 2018, Tones took a journey to Byron Bay, where she won Battle of the Buskers at Buskers by the Creek.  Following her massive win, Tones made Bryon her new home and lived out of her van for the remainder of the year.  Check out Tones and I busking back in 2018 below.

In early 2019, Tones signed to a co-management deal with Artists Only and Lemon Tree Music and so, her musical career began to take off.On March 1, Tones dropped her first single which later became a massive hit, ‘Johnny Run Away.’  Tones’ second single ‘Dance Monkey’ became an even bigger worldwide hit, reaching number one in over 14 countries.

Tones will round out this massive year with a New Year’s Eve set at Bay Dreams festival in New Zealand.”
