Here’s what you’ll need to know about the upcoming reboot:

• Some of your favourite characters will return – Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano), Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zach Morris) and Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski).
• A.C. is now Bayside High’s gym coach and Zach is California’s new governor.
• The show will also include Haskiri Velazquez (Daisy), Mitchell Hoog (Mac Morris, Zach’s son), and Belmont Cameli (Jamie Spano, Jessie’s son).
• The Max will be a return.
• Dustin Diamond (Screech) and Lark Voorhies (Lisa) will not return.

When asked about the upcoming reboot back in May, talking to PEOPLE, Mario shared, “It’s going great.  We have like two or three more episodes to go to finish it up and I think people are gonna like it.  It’s a little edgier and updated, but not naughty by all means.  It’s a lot of fun and I’m having fun with it.”
