Yungblud Earned Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne's Approval with This Mashup

Yesterday, September 29, Yungblud performed a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Cardigan” off her new album Folklore, and paired it with Avril Lavigne’s “I’m With You”, on BBC Radio 1’s annual Live Lounge Month.

Avril Lavigne commented right away saying that the mashup was “Epic. Love it.”

Taylor Swift, on the other hand, took it to her own social media saying thanks and praising him on the cover. To which he responded with a thank you “for creating such a beautiful song”.
