Miley Cyrus is finally releasing her new album! In an Instagram post to announce the exciting news, Miley writes:

“If you’re reading this… know that I f*****g love and appreciate you on the deepest level. I began this album over 2 years ago. Thought I had it all figured out. Not just the record with its songs and sounds but my whole fucking life. No one checks an ego like life itself. Just when I thought the body of work was finished… it was ALL erased. Including most of the music’s relevance.  Because EVERYTHING had changed.  Nature did what I now see as a favor and destroyed what I couldn’t let go of for myself.  I lost my house in a fire but found myself in its ashes.  Luckily my collaborators still had most of the music that was burned up in journals and computers filled with songs for the EP series I was working on at the time. But it never felt right to release my “story” (each record being a continual autobiography) with a huge chapter missing.  If it were a chapter in my book I guess I would call it “The Beginning” which usually when something is over we call it “The End”. But it was far from that.”

Plastic Hearts is Miley’s seventh studio album, and will be released on November 27.

Fans who pre-order Miley’s new album will receive three instant grat tracks, which will include “Midnight Sky,” and live covers of The Cranberries’ “Zombie” and Blondie’s “Heart of Glass.”

Miley has also teamed up with her younger sister, Noah, to release I Got So High That I Saw Jesus.

In an Instagram live back in May, Noah described what it’s like being Miley’s younger sister, “Being born in the family I was in, everybody gave me such a hard time for having a hard time being Miley’s little sister, but, you know, I always felt like I was that person that no one gave a s**t about due to what people said to me online.  It was absolutely unbearable. And that’s why I write, ‘My sister’s like sunshine / Always bringing good light wherever she will go / And I was born to rain clouds / When they blew the flame out / Blessed in her shadows.’ Because, that’s why everybody always says to me, that no matter what, I was going to be in that shadow.”
