Boardwalk Sand on Whyte is back in Old Strathcona this summer with More Than a Feeling, the theme for this year’s exhibit featuring sand sculptures created by professional sand carving artists! Discover the beauty and range of emotions as you explore the sand sculptures, live music, and delicious donuts and beverages from the Ohana Donuterie food truck on June 29 & 30.

Sand carving is performance art, much like ice carving. Professional sand carving artists, SOW Artist Profile – PeterVogelaar and SOW Artist Profile-Guy-Olivier Deveau will transform sand from the Burnco Plant at Wabamun into sand carving masterpieces for you to enjoy.
